GAME PLAY

INFORMATION
MY TASK
As a school project I was tasked to make a first person shooter by my self. This challenged me a lot and made me learn coding through many trails and errors. After 10 weeks I came out a much better developer and also realized that developing was not my thing, instead it was designing games.
PROCESS
During this project I mainly focused on the coding aspect, all of the 3D things are from the internet so that I did not have to bother myself with making them. While learning so much I quickly started trying out more complex things and at the end I even implemented things like a final boss fight and visual effects like blood.
RESULT
At the end of the 10 weeks I was proud of my simple but fun zombie survival shooter where you could choose between 2 different weapons. Although I also learned that during the process I started doing things that was usually left for the designer to do, which gave me the signs that I was not a developer but a designer.
