My graduation project from the HKU I focused on Level design and the process of creating memorable moments. During this project I created 2 scenes that show my findings and demonstrate how I did that.

MY TASK

My task for these levels was to figure out what aspect of a level caused a moment to be memorable.

PROCESS

During this process I created 2 levels, one with the player entering the Necron tomb and one entering the station of a Mechanicus knight.

RESULT

During playtests I discovered that contrast during the level creates the correct elements to make a level memorable, as shown in the gifs.
